Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team.

The PT will delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services and serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement. The position offers 40 hours per week with day shifts (8am-4:30pm), flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts, and one Saturday per month (8am-12pm).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• IL licensure as Physical Therapist or eligibility to practice, with licensure within 6 months.
• WI licensure or temporary licensure with licensure within 6 months.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and direct therapy services and educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement.
• Engage in development of therapy program services and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
