Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Springfield, IL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Inpatient/Acute Care Speech Therapy team. You will evaluate patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care, and contribute to interdisciplinary teams.

You will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students and colleagues, supporting therapy program services. The position offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus and full-time days, with weekend/holiday rotation;

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure required.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop/execute treatment plans per plan of care.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services and engage interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers and support professional development.
