Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team. The PT will delegate and direct therapy services and educate patients, families, students, and colleagues while contributing to interdisciplinary teams.

Position offers a 40-hour work week with day shifts, weekend rotation once a month, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus. IL licensure required, with WI option as noted in policy. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR authorized to practice by IDFPR and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
• WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services and educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement.
• Develop therapy program services and engagement with interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform professional duties related to patient care and therapy development within pediatric rehab services.
