Job summary

Mary Free Bed in Lansing, MI is seeking a Physical Therapist per diem to evaluate patients, plan and execute treatment programs compliant with Michigan licensure, and contribute to interdisciplinary care.

The role emphasizes documentation, goals, education for patients and families, and collaboration with the care team. A Michigan PT license and CPR certification are required; experience in inpatient rehab preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapy program.
• State of Michigan PT licensure.
• Possess and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient’s functional status and needs.
• Develop realistic, functional goals with patient/family.
• Deliver treatment using modalities and exercises per plan.
• Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in rounds.
