• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions for psychological, emotional, or substance use issues.
• Participates in treatment planning and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Provides family session counseling to involve relatives and support groups.
• Communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Manages crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely per hospital standards.
• Assists care coordination and supports discharge planning.
