West Oaks Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking an Inpatient Therapist (PRN) to provide direct psychiatric and substance use treatment in an acute setting. You will collaborate with patients, families, the multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a Human Services field, licensure (LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or LMSW) and CPR/hospital de-escalation certifications; 1–3 years of inpatient

Competenze

• Master’s degree in a Human Services related field required.
• Licensure as LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or LMSW required.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry 1–3 years preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide psychosocial assessments, therapy (individual, group, family) within set timeframes.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, care managers and other team members on crisis intervention and discharge planning.
• Educate and advocate for patients and families to identify needed follow-up services.
