Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician by ACA/AMT/ASCP/NCA/NCCT/NHA.
• Six months full-time phlebotomy experience or completion of a training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy draws.
• Perform computer data entry and clerical tasks.
• Order, receive and distribute phlebotomy supplies.
• Respond to phlebotomy inquiries and represent the work area.
• Perform complex specimen procurement processes.
• Instruct and train others in phlebotomy techniques.
• Respond to inquiries concerning phlebotomy policies and procedures.
• Data entry related to orders and phlebotomy.
