St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a Phlebotomist (Student) to safely collect venous, arterial, and capillary specimens from adults and children. The role supports our mission of compassionate care across our service areas with standard phlebotomy procedures and compliance practices.

Responsibilities include patient interaction, specimen handling, and coordination with lab systems. Regular hours include 5:00am-1:30pm with E/O weekends, and on-site duties across facilities.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Currently in Phlebotomist Student role and meets criteria.
• 18 years or older and on track to graduate within 12 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience including customer service.
• Computer literate.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients using the AIDET model and collects specimens as directed.
• Uses hospital systems to obtain information and communicate with staff.
• Collects specimens safely according to policies and procedures.
• Cleans and stocks work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs duties at other locations as needed.
• Attends training and participates in ongoing education.
