Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join a 55-person pharmacy team. You’ll assist pharmacists, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patient care across the hospital.

This role offers 40 hours per week with day and evening shifts. New grads welcome to apply, with opportunities to use Omnicell, USP 797/800 compliant clean rooms, and DoseEdge workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and active pharmacy tech cert/license.
• Familiar with state/federal pharmacy regs and controlled substances handling.
• Experience assisting pharmacists and technicians in inpatient settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, assist in compounding, and verify accuracy per policies.
• Coordinate medication access and support patient care across hospital units.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, controlled substance security, and 340B/charging workflows.
• Communicate with care teams about responsibilities and safety concerns.
