Job summary
Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, help prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and partner with pharmacists and technicians to optimize patient care throughout the hospital stay.
The ideal candidate has inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding skills, and familiarity with Omnicell; new grads are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent is required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification/licensure required for practice state.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
- Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform compounding as required.
- Ensure supervision and accuracy checks with pharmacists.
- Maintain medication supplies and monitor inventories including 340B/Charging management.
