Job summary

AIMS Locum Tenens LLC seeks Inpatient-Pharmacy Technicians to support BAMC at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Roles cover inpatient, outpatient, and oncology settings with adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Requirements include 1 year of recent experience, ASHP-accredited training, PTCB/ExCPT/CHPhT certification, and current BLS. Rotational shifts apply. Competitive pay of $20–$25 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience within the last five years as an inpatient, outpatient, or oncology pharmacy technician.
Graduate from an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program or similar program, including military training programs.
Certification by PTCB, ExCPT, or CHPhT.
Current active BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

Prepare sterile products and perform pharmaceutical calculations for various preparations.
Adhere strictly to sterile procedures and maintain equipment.
Prepare and fill physician orders for IV solutions, parenteral, and inpatient unit dose orders.
Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure sterility of IV products.
Participate in quality assurance data collection and review.
