Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Pharmacy Technician I for inpatient operations. Under direct supervision, you will prepare and fill medication orders, deliver meds, and maintain stock across hospital units, following SOPs and ensuring accurate workflows.

Qualifications

• CPHT or CPT credentials are required.
• PA Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• H.S. Diploma/GED is required; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and prepare medication orders for distribution to patients and patient care areas.
• Maintain medication inventory, rotating stock and checking for expired medications.
• Deliver medications to designated areas according to storage requirements.
• Maintain competence in department policies and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to provide high-quality pharmacy services.
• Manage multiple priorities and complete duties of assigned shifts.
