Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for the inpatient pharmacies. Under the direct supervision of Registered Pharmacists, you will help with preparing and filling medication orders, distributing medications, and maintaining stock and automation systems across hospital locations.

Qualifications include a CPhT certification, PA State Board of Pharmacy license, and HS diploma with at least 1 year of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and prepare medication orders for distribution to patients and patient care areas.
• Maintain medication inventory, rotating stock regularly and checking for expired medications.
• Deliver medications appropriately to designated areas based on storage requirements.
• Maintains competence in all department policies and standards of practice and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborates with other pharmacy staff to provide high-quality pharmacy services.
• Manage multiple priorities and adapt to assigned shifts.
