Penn Medicine's Pharmacy- Inpatient role seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support the inpatient pharmacies under direct supervision of pharmacists. Responsibilities include filling orders, managing inventory, and distributing medications across hospital units.

Qualified candidates hold a CPhT or PA license and a high school diploma, with at least one year of pharmacy experience. This is a full-time on-site position in a leading academic medical center.

Qualificações

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification required and PA license active.
• 1+ years pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately fill and prepare medication orders for distribution to patients and patient care areas.
• Maintain medication inventory, rotating stock regularly and checking for expired medications.
• Deliver medications to designated areas based on medication storage requirements.
• Maintains competence in department policies and standards of practice and complies with applicable laws.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff to provide high-quality services.
• Manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifts.
