Job summary

You will gain hands-on experience with Carousel and Pyxis technology, help maintain workflow during staffing, and prepare for advancement into specialty areas after completing required competencies, including Vermont board registration.

Qualifications

• PTCB or NHA certification required for promotion within the Pharmacy Technician.
• Trainee must register with the Vermont Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician before starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compounding and filling medication orders.
• Deliveries to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Manage technology including Carousel and Pyxis.
• Support workflow within the department and expeditor role during staffing.
