Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of combined supervisory and technician experience in a pharmacy or equivalent preferred.
• Substantial knowledge of technician duties and demonstrated high level of precision, responsibility, efficiency, and judgment required.
• Effective problem solving, and change management abilities desired.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and team skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the daily operations of pharmacy technician staff.
• Monitors productivity, quality of work and completion of assignments.
• Recruits, orients, trains and evaluates pharmacy staff.
• Participates in compliance and quality improvement activities of the department.
• Resolves customer complaints and ensures excellent customer service.

Education

Associates degree, or higher, in a management or health related field
