Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient, Nights to support overnight hospital operations. You will handle medication preparation, sterile compounding, IV preparation, inventory management, and distribution across units as part of an inpatient team.

The role requires a CPhT, OBOP registration, and strong math/computer skills, with a 7-on/7-off night schedule (8:00pm-6:30am Wed-Sat, 8:00pm-7:10am Sun-Tue) at Euclid Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be a CPhT (PTCB or NHA) at hire.
• Active OBOP registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Registration must be updated to CPhT within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Package, prepare and distribute medications and manage inventory.
• Support sterile compounding and IV preparation tasks.
• Operate automated dispensing technology and troubleshoot as needed.
• Respond to pharmacy calls and support overnight workflow.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations and maintain records.

Education

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
