Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the inpatient pharmacy. You will read medication orders, assist with filling and dispensing, and deliver medications to nursing units in a 24/7 hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and formal pharmacy technician education. Michigan licensure is required, with certification preferred, and experience in hospital environments is desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician educational program and/or completion of an Associate's Degree preferred.
• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Michigan required; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets physician's medication orders and assists with filling and dispensing medications.
• Delivers medications to nursing units and assists with IV admixture preparation following USP 797/800 guidelines.
• Restocks unit dose drawers, manages inventory, and participates in quality improvement activities.
