Intermountain Health’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to optimize patient care during hospital stays.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to pharmacy practice.
Any lapse may result in disciplinary action at hiring manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and other patient information and maintaining records as required.
Uses pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders for dispensing and compounds medications as needed.
Under pharmacist supervision, verifies tasks and actions.
Fills and maintains medication supplies including controlled substances inventories and 340B/Charging management.
