Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, coordinate medication access, and assist pharmacists with patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will work closely with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions, maintain records, and ensure safe, efficient medication delivery within a modern hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for the practice of pharmacy and distribution of drugs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders and compounds per policy and state regulations.
• Manage and monitor controlled substances inventory and 340B/Charging processes.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to support patient care workflows.
