Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions and maintaining patient records.
• Utilize pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and perform calculations.
• Ensure accuracy checks with supervision and verify tasks with a pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor controlled substance stocks.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
