Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, preparing prescriptions, coordinating medication access, and ensuring accurate medication delivery throughout the patient stay.

Qualifications

• Inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding skills and Omnicell familiarity preferred.
• Pharmacist and technician roles require compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintaining records.
• Uses pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders for dispensing and performs calculations.
• Compounds medications as appropriate and ensures accuracy checks with the pharmacist.
• Maintains controlled substance inventories and supports 340B/Charging management.
• Communicates with caregivers and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
