UNC Health is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician in Hillsborough, NC to support pharmacists by reviewing, compounding and dispensing medications under supervision. The role involves handling sterile products, inventory management, and patient billing documentation.

Ideal candidates have NC Board registration, CPhT/ExCPT credentials, and a preferred pharmac​y technician training background. Enrollment in a PharmD program may apply for internship scenarios; location is onsite with flexible

Competenze

• Registration as a pharmacy technician with the NC Board of Pharmacy is required unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
• CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA is required unless enrolled in a PharmD program; waiver possible during program.
• Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program is preferred; current PharmD enrollment acceptable for intern role.

Mansioni

• Review, compound and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver exchanges of medications to patient areas and return unused meds to the pharmacy.
• Document pharmaceutical activities including patient billing and quality control in systems.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance with pharmacy services.
