Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and ensure safe, timely patient care. You will prepare, package and deliver medications, manage inventory, and maintain records as part of a collaborative team focused on patient-centered care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPhT, OBOP registration, and the ability to work rotating shifts including early mornings, with some PTO coverage and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA upon hire.
• Must hold active OBOP registration as CPT/Registered/PTT upon hire.
• Registration update to CPT with OBOP within 6 months if trainee or registered.
• Understanding of algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.

Responsabilités

• Prepare medications through selecting, labeling, repacking, non-sterile compounding and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to the appropriate storage locations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate inventories of medications and supplies and complete inventory audits, such as cycle counts and nursing unit inspections.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled activities and training.
• Use information systems, technology and automation to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with the training of pharmacy caregivers and students.
