Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy. The role includes staffing, training, safety, policy development, and participation on performance improvement teams.

You will lead staffing, training and payroll, ensure compliance with health system policies and regulations, and contribute to performance improvements within a technology-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Three to five years hospital or leadership experience required.
• Basic knowledge of personal computer.
• Leadership skills needed to effectively lead a group.
• Written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate competency in Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operational efficiency, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement for the inpatient pharmacy.
• Oversees staffing, training/competence, productivity, scheduling and payroll.
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with state and federal laws, policies, and accreditation standards.
• Performs employee evaluations, coaching, and fosters engagement and satisfaction.
• Preceptor role for pharmacy students, interns and residents.
• Develops and updates policies and procedures for pharmacy and services; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides staff coverage when needed.
