Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead inpatient, infusion, and cancer center pharmacy services.

You will collaborate with patient care teams to ensure safe, timely medication therapy and drive medication safety, documentation, and inventory control. The role oversees 20–40 caregivers, emphasizes regulatory compliance, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• State license to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances, or eligibility to obtain a license upon hire.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• 2 years of leadership experience in area of practice.
• BLS certification within 90 days (if required).
• ACLS within 90 days (if required).
• PALS within 90 days (if required).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a professional environment.
• Ability to interpret and use data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee pharmacy services across inpatient, infusion, and cancer center settings.
• Drive safe, high-quality patient-centered care and operational excellence.
• Define KPIs and monitor pharmacy operations and clinical services.
• Oversee daily activities and mentor caregivers (20–40 team).
• Recruit, hire, coach, and evaluate staff while maintaining accountability.
• Prepare budgets and manage fiscal accountability in partnership with leadership.
