Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor for Clinical Inpatient Pharmacy. The role leads pharmacists, technicians and staff; participates in hiring, orientation and training; mentors students and residents; and develops SOPs to guide operations.

The position oversees areas such as Central Pharmacy and satellite services, with emphasis on staffing, budgeting and regulatory readiness to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Two years of pharmacy experience; management experience preferred.
• PharmD Residency may substitute for two years of experience; SC intern license or reciprocity steps may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and supervision for Pharmacy services in designated areas.
• Participates in hiring, orientation and training of new personnel; mentoring and guidance.
• Oversees education of pharmacy residents and students; supports resident programs.
• Develops operational policies and standard operating procedures.
• Staffing planning; develops work schedules; monitors attendance and overtime.
• Engages in budgeting, capital planning and operational improvements.
• Ensures readiness for regulatory inspections and accreditation activities.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care in pharmacy services.
