Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Services to direct inpatient and satellite pharmacy operations at the Upstate Pharmacy-MAP facility. You will oversee clinical services, drug information, and investigational drug work while guiding education for students, residents, and staff.

The role requires strong leadership in hospital pharmacy management, regulatory compliance, and budget oversight to maintain high-quality patient care and cost efficiency across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD or equivalent preferred.
• MBA/MHA or health-system management experience is a plus.
• PGY1/PGY2 residency experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inpatient pharmacy operations and central/ satellite services.
• Directs clinical pharmacy services, drug information, and investigational drug services.
• Develops programs to improve patient outcomes and quality measures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with State Board, CMS, and Joint Commission.
• Leads staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
