Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Director to oversee the entire Pharmacy Services operation, including central pharmacy, satellites, IV sterile and non-sterile compounding, and clinical programs.

The role requires leadership of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, development of staff and training, and collaboration with academic programs and hospital committees to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD or MBA/MHA preferred.
• Five years acute care hospital or system experience.
• One year pharmacy management experience.
• ASHP residency preferred (PGY1 or PGY2) or equivalent.
• Pharmacy business management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises inpatient and central pharmacy operations.
• Oversees clinical pharmacy services, drug information, investigational drugs, and other clinical programs.
• Develops programs to improve patient clinical quality and outcomes for inpatients and outpatients.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and Prisma Health standards.
• Oversees hiring, orientation, training, and payroll processing for staff.
• Manages academic and training programs for pharmacy students and residents.
