Accepted to a doctor of pharmacy program at a degree granting institution or enrolled in their first year of a doctor of pharmacy program at a degree granting institution.TRAINING DESCRIPTION:Must complete a competency checklist within three months of completing orientation and training sessions.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Ability to communicate effectively with other health care professionals and patients. Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to optimize patient care and minimize adverse outcomes.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
