Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Computers; detail oriented; service oriented with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for safety and appropriateness prior to dispensing or administration.
• Enters or verifies orders in the hospital information system.
• Prepares or supervises preparation of medication to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Provides drug information or education to patients and staff as requested.
• May perform immunizations or serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students as needed.
