Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; phlebotomy training recommended for phlebotomy.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• At least 2 years as Clinical Tech I or certified phlebotomist with competency.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required for Phlebotomy Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures.
• Prepare tests including cytogenetics, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen management.
• Obtain and label urine volumes; ensure proper specimen handling.
• Verify patient IDs and process specimens; maintain records and order entry.
• Maintain supplies, assist with clerical tasks, and support office operations.
