Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Computer skills and comfort with clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Communicates observations to the RN regarding patient status.
• Maintains constant observation for high‑risk patients when assigned.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Move, lift, and position patients using proper safety techniques.
• Record vital signs and patient measurements accurately.
• Perform EKGs, POC tests and bladder scanning as trained.
• Assist with treatments and prepare equipment for procedures.
