Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner education and certification required.
• North Carolina state licensure required or ability to obtain prior to start.
• At least one year of experience preferred; palliative care or ICU fellowship may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient palliative care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, social workers, and chaplains to deliver coordinated care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and call coverage as scheduled.
• Provide inpatient palliative care consultation and ongoing support for patients and families.
