Carolinas Palliative Care & Hospice Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient palliative care team in Stanly, NC. You will work with physicians, APPs, nurses, social workers, and chaplains to provide compassionate, coordinated care to seriously ill patients and families. The role emphasizes symptom management, goals-of-care conversations, and collaborative care planning.

A NY-based? No; this is NC—cardinal emphasis on team support and physician backup.

Qualifications

• NP education and certification required; North Carolina state licensure required or ability to obtain prior to start.
• At least one year of experience preferred; palliative care or ICU fellowship may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and care planning.
• Work with physicians and APPs, with supervising physician backup available.
• Participate in call rotation and provide inpatient palliative care consultation and ongoing support for patients and families.
• Procedures are not required for this position.
