Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient palliative care team at Stanly. You will provide inpatient palliative care as part of an interdisciplinary group, collaborating with physicians, APPs, nurses, social workers, and chaplains to deliver compassionate, coordinated care.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation about every 10–12 weeks; approximately 1,000 visits and 3,000 RVUs per year.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner education and certification required.
• North Carolina state licensure required or ability to obtain prior to start.
• At least one year of experience preferred; palliative care or ICU fellowship may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient palliative care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with hospital physicians, APPs, nurses, social workers, and chaplains to deliver coordinated care.
• Participate in call rotation and support symptom management and goals-of-care discussions.
• Provide inpatient palliative care consultation and ongoing support for patients and families.
