UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join the inpatient palliative care team. You will provide patient-centered, holistic care to adults with serious illness, collaborating across disciplines to improve quality of life.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• North Carolina licensure or eligibility as APRN/PA.
• Board certification as APRN or PA.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical: obtain health history, perform physical exams, interpret tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Education: educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Leadership: mentor staff, participate in rounds and teaching.
• Professional: communicate with patients and staff respectfully and promptly.
• Quality/Research: participate in quality improvement and policy discussions.
