Job summary

NTMC in Texas is seeking an occupational therapist to evaluate, discharge, plan and direct therapy interventions. The OT will administer treatments prescribed by a physician to restore function and prevent disability, working with inpatient and swing bed patients.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, discharge, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy interventions of treatment.
• Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and function level, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
