Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care electronically, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

You will mentor staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to cost-saving efforts within the department while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with state licensure.
• Strong documentation and coding/billing skills.
• Ability to mentor teammates and participate in quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains thorough electronic documentation and accurate coding.
• Communicates with disciplines and referring providers to improve outcomes.
• Participates in PI/CQI processes and staff orientation/mentoring.
