HSHS St. John's is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their rehab team in a PRN capacity. Ideal candidates will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care.

They will delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self‑professional advancement. Current state licensure as an OTA, plus BLS certification, is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited OTA program.
• Current state licensure as Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification required or within first 90 days of employment.
• Illinois licensure must be obtained within 6 months if relocating or meeting requirements.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans per plan of care.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Educate patients, families, co-workers, and students; engage in interdisciplinary team activities.
