Job summary

Medix is seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join a California hospital and cancer center. The role focuses on inpatient oncology services, chemotherapy management, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff.

The ideal candidate has a Pharm.D., a 1-year residency, and oncology experience or PGY2 in Oncology, with California driver's license. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Completion of a 1-year accredited pharmacy residency.
• At least 1 year of experience compiling MUE or quality assurance data for P&T activities.
• At least 2 years of oncology pharmacy experience or completion of PGY2 Oncology Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized oncology pharmacy services and chemotherapy management.
• Coordinate inpatient and infusion center chemotherapy.
• Deliver medication management and clinical guidance to physicians and staff.
• Participate in MUEs, QA initiatives and P&T activities.
• Support formulary reviews and oncology service development.
• Serve as preceptor for students/residents if interested.
• Perform operational pharmacy shifts as part of the role.
• Collaborate with oncology team to improve inpatient services.
