Job summary

Medix is seeking a pharmacist to manage oncology services at a California facility. The role includes coordinating infusion center and inpatient chemotherapy, leading QA activities, and providing education to staff and physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharm.D. with CA licensure, a 1-year residency, and oncology experience, with potential to precept students. The position offers a collaborative culture and opportunities to expand the cancer program.

Qualifications

• Valid California Pharmacist license (and CA driver’s license).
• 1 year accredited pharmacy residency.
• 1 year experience compiling MUE or QA data.
• Oncology: 2 years in oncology practice OR PGY2 Oncology Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pharmaceutical oncology management.
• Coordinate and monitor infusion center and inpatient chemotherapy.
• Perform operational shifts across the service line.
• Participate in quality assurance, MUE, and P&T committee activities.
• Potential to act as a preceptor/teacher if interested.
