Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited therapy program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the State of Michigan Upon Hire.
• OTR certification by NBCOT Upon Hire.
• BLS certification required by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of referred patients to determine rehab potential and create an individualized treatment plan.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments to maximize functional level and achieve goals in collaboration with patient/family and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to referring physician.
• Contribute to professional growth, team collaboration, and quality patient care.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited therapy program

Occupational Therapist - State of Michigan Upon Hire

Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Upon Hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
