Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (OBGYN) for inpatient care. You will deliver hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic services, conduct histories and exams, order and interpret tests, and develop plans of care for diverse patient populations.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in nursing or higher, Texas BON authorization, and an ARC-PA–accredited PA program with PA-C certification on hire. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or higher and Texas BON authorization must align with clinical practice area.
• ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program and PA-C certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Primarily delivers hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Performs history taking, exams, orders/tests, diagnoses and treatments; prescribes medications.
• Documents physical examinations and develops care plans; coordinates patient care and education.
