Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Relief Nursing Supervisor-Inpatient for 8-hour shifts (7am-3:30pm), every other Saturday, to coordinate nursing services across the hospital.

The role ensures staffing adequacy, bed assignments, and collaboration with department managers to move patients efficiently while supporting Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in staff development and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required or equivalent.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 5 years RN experience in an Acute Care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of nursing services across the organization.
• Ensures adequate nursing staff through management of resources.
• Facilitates bed assignments and coordinates patient movement.
• Directs with department managers to expedite patient flow.
• Assists Nursing Directors and Managers with staff development and quality care.
• Handles clinical and/or non-clinical administrative duties.
