Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System seeks a Nurse Director of Inpatient Nursing to provide clinical leadership across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Observation, Oncology, Cardiology, and Orthopaedics. This role drives patient outcomes, workforce engagement, and financial stewardship while fostering a culture of safety and equity.

Requirements include RN with 5+ years' experience and 3+ years in management; MD-state licensure; BSN required; MSN or Informatics preferred; national certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed in State of Maryland.
• Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• MSN and/or Informatics preferred; national certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and professional nursing leadership for designated clinical services.
