Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System seeks an executive to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate patient care services within a clinical division. You will collaborate to set long term strategy for clinical program development and service delivery, and design systems that promote collaboration, cost-effective resource use, and achievement of quality and business objectives.

As a key executive team member, you will lead clinical service design, budget development, and governance of nursing

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensure in Maryland or eligible via Compact.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred; graduate management training helpful.
• Six years of nursing experience required; three years managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Designs clinical services to meet program goals and achieve quality, cost and volume objectives.
• Develops operating budgets and productivity and utilization management systems.
• Collaborates with medical staff leadership to project development needs and plan for future requirements.
• Directs design and development of clinical services responsive to customer requirements and staff input.
• Ensures patient care delivery systems are cost effective and converge to quality outcomes across the continuum.
