Job summary

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse - Inpatient Staff Nurse. This position is within the Patient Care Nursing Service under Acute Care (4B) at the Cleveland, OH campus.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license in good standing, have graduation from an approved nursing program, and demonstrate strong clinical skills for inpatient care. The role includes an evening/night rotation with weekend/holiday coverage as required by the department.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required for direct patient care.
• Current, full, active nursing license in the United States.
• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing (ACEN/CCNE preferred).
• State license required upon appointment; bridge program options may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an Inpatient Staff Nurse.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Lead and collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes.
• Contribute to policy and procedure development and revision.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and effective communication with patients and staff.
