Job summary

Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare System-Houston seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive inpatient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess and manage patients, order diagnostics, and coordinate care across the hospital setting.

You will educate patients and families, document in the EMR, and participate in quality initiatives while complying with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APNP license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• PALS preferred.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from accredited Nursing Program.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, promote health, and coordinate care for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
• Demonstrate advanced medical/nursing knowledge, communication, collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice.
• Work with the administrative, nursing and physician teams to ensure safe, effective, quality patient care.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care with compassionate, effective treatment across the lifespan.
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
