Job summary

Jefferson University Physicians is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join the inpatient neurosurgery service. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care within an acute care hospital setting.

The role emphasizes completing histories and exams, ordering tests, participating in diagnosis, and formulating a dynamic plan of care with evidence-based guidelines. Rotating shifts, professional engagement, and ongoing education are supported.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant clinical field.
• National Board Certification as ACNP or PA.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physicals and documents in medical records.
• Orders and interprets data and diagnostic procedures as indicated.
• Acts as first responder for patient status changes and interventions.
• Collaborates with the care team to diagnose and manage acute/complex conditions.
• Maintains documentation and communicates with care teams and patients.
